GMT-S generates SMPTE at 24, 25, 29.97 drop frame and 30 fps. It delivers high stability LTC to multi-track audio recorders, it jam-syncs DATs suffering from drifting internal clocks, and drives accessories such as electronic slates and video inserters.
Equipped with two identical Lemo5 in/out timecode sockets, GMT-S receives timecode from OriginC+ (ASCII protocol) or from SMPTE Ltc sources (24, 25, 29.97df, 30).
GMT-S can also generate its own time and date. Pressing the central button activates the internal clock, at 01h 00m 00s. An arbitrary date, starting from January 1st 1992, is incremented each time GMT-S is initialized this way.
Dual SMPTE parallel outputs provide both 0 - 5V TTL signal and an adjustable -20dB to -60dB low level signal for audio recorders mike or line input.
GMT-S also is a TC converter which feeds "ScriptLink" with the timecode read on the TC track of the audio play-back machines running during music-videos shooting.
